I met my friend Bob. Not his real name... and not really a friend... er... well... he's a little bit too clingy for my taste... I didn't feel like meeting him for a couple of months and then I finally agreed and what can I say... He cried! He cried! I mean, why do I even blog when I make people cry in ''real life'' because I'm so, er, great?

So... Bob cried and hugged me for... yes... ages and I didn't really like it.

Bob: ''You are the only person that understands me!''

We talked for five hours about his problems (he's in love with some dumb chick. If her vagina had a password, it would be 1234.)

I mean... I like Bob. He's a nice guy but he's one of those guys who say: ''Girls always like the bad guys. No one likes the nice guys.''
Yawn.

''The nice guys'' mysteriously always fall for sluts and golddiggers and show no interest in the ''nice girls'' because they're boring or not pretty enough...but the golddigger? The golddigger is popular! All the guys want her! (Wrong: all the guys had her).
Nice guys: ''I gave her all my money. Why doesn't she love me?''
I don't know, man, I don't know...

At some point I got really bored of Bob's babble.

We even had two arguments:
Bob said: ''All guys cheat on their girlfriends.''
Me: ''Er, that's not true. Of course many do but not everyone!''
Bob: ''I know men because I am a man. All men only want sex.''
Me: ''Bob! Not every single man is a crazed sex maniac!''
Bob: ''Yes!''

Second argument:
Me: ''Bob, you know, the girl you're in love with. I really think she had sex with the bisexual couple (two guys) in your bed at your birthday party while you were asleep in another room.''
Bob: ''No, she didn't!''
Me: ''Bob... people saw her... Why are so naive...''
Bob: ''I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS ANYMORE!''

After a while I said: ''Hey Bob, you know what? Wouldn't it be great to invite some people? We could have a little party here, hm?''
Bob: ''A party? Sure, why not.''

I thought it would be funny to ''spice things up a little bit'' and invite ''unmatching people'' ha, and see how they get on.

Well...

- I invited two goths I know. (Don't even ask how I met them haha) and the came with their friends

- an utterly strange ex-drug dealer
- an utterly strange guy who's really into horoscopes and acid
- an utterly strange guy who trashed his flat a couple of weeks ago and got commited to mental hospital

Ha...

And what can I say...

First the people didn't like each other at all.

Ex-drug dealer talked about some boring shit (like his car) and the goths constantly sighed but then...
all of them... Everyone! ...Finally found something they could talk about.

They talked about death, ghosts, cemeteries, blood, afterlife, devil, hell, murder, haunted houses...

Ah...

It was so scary. Ha. They really creeped me out. Hey! That was not the plan. I thought I'd get some Jerry Springer Saturday live entertainment (I know I'm mean...) but instead of that I got goosebumps and decided to get drunk and ignore their sough.

I drank two bottles of wine.
Me: ''Bob, I'm so tired. Could you make me a coffee?''
Bob: ''Sure.''

I drank three cups of coffee but it didn't help. I fell asleep on Bob's sofa.

I woke up an hour later.

Ex-drug dealer was talking about a guy he knows who killed his family with an axe... Nice.

I (always very grumpy when I wake up) said: ''Ah, fuck you! I really had enough! You are depressing! I'm off to the bathroom to vomit. See you later!''

I rejoined them after a while and fell asleep again.

I woke up and what can I say. The ''unmatching people'' looked a little bit like this

Me: ''Er... why are so happy now?''
Bob: ''Ha, candyflip.''
Ex-drug dealer to the other people: ''You are really great. I mean... First thing I thought when I saw you was: oh, the clothes they're wearing. Black? Scary shit, you know, hahaha. And the guys are wearing eyeliner? Hahaha. But you're really great. Really. Hahaha. I mean it.''
Goth: ''Aww. You too, man, you too.''

I have this new, slightly crazy, idea of moving to the countryside for a while.
A few months maybe. A little village in the middle of nowhere (not too far from
London.)

I talked with a friend about it.

Friend: ''Are you mad? You must be mad. What do you want to do in the countryside?''

I don't know. Fresh air and stuff? Nature. A little pub in the village where I'd befriend old men.
Something like that?

I emailed an elderly lady in a village in the middle of nowhere. She offers some sort of long term
bed & breakfast...

She called me today. She said: ''It's such a nice village. You'll like it. We have cows and meadows
and friendly people.''

Hurrah, I'm really into cows, meadows and friendly people.

She talked so much about the village- I could barely restrain my laughter. It made me think of
''Daffyd, the only gay in the village''.

The landlady seemed quite nice (but you never know...).

Landlady: ''Do you have any tattoos or piercings? Not that I really mind but...''
Me: ''Yes, a rather large dragon tattoo on my forehead.''
Landlady: ''Er.. really?''

The guy seemed so angry. He made me feel really bad for not giving him my last money...

He was stressed, fine, fair enough... but it's not my fault that he lost his wallet... I must admit
that I'd rather give my money to a homeless person than a 'regular traveller' who's not
even friendly who didn't look after his stuff properly and lost it...

If I were in his situation I'd be so embarrassed to ask people for money but he was so cocky...

I can't believe I remained friendly. Sometimes I really hate it how my parents raised me.

Other bloggers always talk so much about packing. Neat. Tidy. Organised. I love to look at their little lists. My friends never plan, the characters in my favourite books and films never do, I never do. We don't plan. We don't make lists. We throw stuff in bags. Sometimes we throw stuff in bin bags because we don't have bags. They got stolen, we lost them, they're old, torn and worn out. Most of the time we don't even plan our travels.
They just happen.

When I go on a trip, I pick up some clothes from the floor..., a book I won't read because I'll be too busy wandering around befriending strangers and soaking up outlandish tones, smells and fragments (but just in case I find the time to read/ need distraction), two cameras, passport, keys and that's it.

I forgot to tell you, well, I deliberately forgot to tell you (because it's

kind of embarrassing) that we had a little fire in our flat two weeks ago.

My flatmate is a little bit silly and thought it's a good idea to sort out her bedroom. Yes, that's a good idea. Clean bedrooms are nice.
It's not so nice (and it's certainly not very clever) when you put old magazines and letters in a basket and somehow a burning candle ends up in there too! ''I didn't notice it.'' she said.

But luckily I did...

Me: ''Look, what's that? Oh my God, fire! A fire has broken out! Oh my God!''
Flatmate: ''Oh... oh... J.! J.!'' (J=other flatmate)
Me: ''He's at work! We need to extinguish the fire!''
My flatmate grabbed my shoes (oh...), almost all my shoes, and threw them into the fire.
Me: ''What on earth are you doing, you idiot? Not my shoes!''

She eventually managed to put out the fire with our doormat. (RIP doormat. You should know that you have been loved even though we stomped on you. Also: RIP Our Youth shoes.)

While my flatmate was saving our poor lives, I was very busy myself. I hysterically cried: ''I hate this house! It's a madhouse. I bet the neighbours from downstairs lit the fire! They're trying to kill us! I fucking hate them! I hate the neighbours.''
(They really are morons. Nosy, loud, dirty. I wouldn't care that much about nosy, loud and dirty to be honest but they're also very, very rude.)

I'm just very paranoid, haha. I think most people are insane. So it's best to be a little secretive. I already know way too many people and I most definitely don't want to befriend any drunk and horny guys at parties or in pubs/bars/clubs. ''Big city problems'', ha.)

Crazy people always think I'm crazy too and they're almost disappointed when I tell them that I don't have any disorders:

I hope this doesn't sound too arrogant but I see myself as a mostly creative and artistic person; a free spirit but that doesn't mean I'm utterly insane. That's the problem because the very crazy people only seem to know crazy or ''normal and boring'' people and categorise me as crazy (black and white thinking) mais je suis normale (more or less). I like crazy people if they're not too crazy, you know. Too crazy as in ''possibly dangerous.''

Crazy, creepy and possibly dangerous blog readers: Move on. Don't come back. You're wasting your time. I never reply your strange endless emails? Guess why. I'm not your ''soul mate''. PS: I feel a little bit bad for being sooo mean to my German readers in one of my previous

posts but I'm only only only only only talking about the silly people. I don't know why I seem

to have a lot of German followers/visitors but people who tell me things like: ''Your friend's

bedroom is too messy. She's a girl! Girl shouldn't be this messy.'', ''Don't you want to stop

blogging and get married and have children?'' or ''You got your bag in a charity shop? Ew,

are you poor?''... you know what I mean?

Well, there's one thing I'm for sure and that's easily annoyed! Especially when people from

other countries I have nothing do with (except a German stepfather I rarely see), tell me how I

should live my life. that I should get married NOW or that my friend should tidy up her flat...

This blog is a place (at least that's how I'd like it to be) for open-minded, tolerant, creative

and clever people (sometimes silly and a tad crazy) who don't take themselves too serious.

When you're in the blogging world and seem to polarise/ are willing to communicate with people, you suddenly meet all those
narrow-minded internet Regina Georges and strange guys with ''emotional problems'', I have the feeling. I don't want to be a part of all this.

I know two bloggers in ''real life''...

A couple of years ago, when they, ha, were emo, they had a massive argument about their ''stylings'':

Now, years later, they're not emo anymore but... I don't even want to talk about them, ha. It's a waste of time! They were also arguing about boys all the time because they always liked the same ''emoy boys''... and now they have quite ''artsy'' blogs and seem like ''cool girls'' even though they didn't change much and one could think they're... the best people in the world.

(I'm sure I'm also much nicer/meaner/more boring/more exciting/more stupid/more clever ''offline'' than you think but that's not important.)

I must confess that I didn't receive anything too silly for ages and I really mean ages. July 2011 perhaps? But this blog needs a proper rant once in a while. It's childish but also very therapeutic in a strange anonymous internet world sort of way.

I've got so many things to do. I do EVERYTHING last minute. When will I finally learn.

I'll be incredibly busy for about two weeks which is a good thing because I've been

quite sad lately.

When you don't occupy your mind properly your mind gets a little idle and every time I do

that, do not occupy my mind properly, my good old friend Mister Melancholy gets really

angry with me, visits and tortures me and then your mind wanders where your mind shouldn't

wander to and then you have to get up and you have to say: ''No thanks!''

What I've been trying to tell you:

when you're lazy, you have a lot of time to think. You feel guilty because you're ''hanging out''

too much but you just hang out more and it makes it even worse and you think too much and

then you get this sad/guilty/overwhelming/terrible/depressing/melancholic feeling which I don't

like. You- well, I'm obviously talking about myself.

I had over five months to do what I have to accomplish in two weeks now but I think I'll be fine.

I won't have much to time to reply every single comment. Please bear with me... I'm sorry.
